The Groove Report

Hey y’all, welcome to the very first issue of The Jogwheel Newsletter.
July was amazing. I had the chance to travel to Chicago for the Chosen Few Festival and Atlanta to spin at Controllerise and a rock a set at a NY themed day party hosted by Ed Lover

Had a great time connecting with the Chitown house culture, revisit ATL and promote my new single “CALL ME” along the way. Check out some highlights below—photos, and vibes straight from the road.

B2B w/ the Chosen Few DJs

Chicago, IL - July 13 2025

Shared a line up with Terry Hunter, Mike Dunn, Wayne Williams and more!

CHICAGO AKA SUMMERTIME CHI

For the past two years, I’ve been deeply immersed in the soulful house and dance/electronic community—learning, growing, and finding my rhythm in the space. Years ago, my mentor DJ Spinna encouraged me to put the Chosen Few Picnic & Festival on my radar, and this year, I finally made it out.

Not only did I attend—I had the honor of DJing at the official closing party alongside all the legendary Chosen Few DJs. I also got to rock a spontaneous daytime set in the park, thanks to Sean Hardison and Greg Winfield, who created a beautiful space for the vibe to flourish.

I had an absolute blast, connected with some of my favorite DJs like Stacey Kidd, Mike Dunn, Immaculate, and of course, the legendary Terry Hunter (who I’ve got music coming with 👀). The love was real, and it truly felt like going home—a house music boot camp in the best way possible.

I left Chicago refreshed, inspired, and even more locked in with the community. Hope to be back very soon.
